GeoCollector Subfoot

Subfoot GPS Accuracy & Mobile GIS
The GeoCollector subfoot is the top-of-the-line solution for high accuracy GIS data collection. engineered with H-star technology, the GeoCollector subfoot delivers the GPS accuracy required by electric and gas utilities, water and wastewater services, land reform projects, and other applications where accuracte positioning is crucial. H-star technology can provide subfoot (30cm) accuracy in real time or after postprocessing with GPS Analyst for ArcGIS Desktop, and decimeter (10 cm/4 in) accuracy with the optional Zephyr antenna. To obtain decimeter to subfoot accuracy in real time, you can connect to the Internet using a Bluetooth-enabled cellular phone to access corrections from a dual-frequency VRS network or base station. Alternatively, you can receive real-time correction from a dual-frequency base station via an external radio. Real time may require paying fees to providers of dual-frequency base station suppliers.
Key Features:
- Real-time H-Star technology for decimeter to subfoot accuracy in the field
- High-resolution VGA display for crisp and clear map viewing
- Bluetooth and wireless LAN connectivity options
- 1 GB onboard storage plus SD slot for removable cards
- Windows Mobile version 6 operating system
- Rugged handheld with all-day battery
Trimble's H-star technology uses revolutionary processing techniques to achieve subfoot accuracy. Achieving these results requires one dual dual-frequency base station within 80 km or at least three dual-frequency base stations within 200 km of where your fieldwork was performed.
